The services list is what customers pick from when submitting a booking. Keep the list short, clear, and matched to what your shop actually does.
Edit the list
Settings → Booking → Services.
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| + Add service | Type a name (e.g. "Duct cleaning"). The new service appears immediately in the customer-facing form. |
| Remove | Tap the X next to a service. |
| Reorder | Drag to change order (top-down matches the customer's view). |
The default services
New accounts start with:
- AC Repair
- Heating Repair
- Maintenance / Tune-Up
- New System Estimate
- Other
Keep, edit, or replace any of them.
How services show up to the customer
A simple pill picker — each service is a tap-to-select chip. Customers can pick only one per submission (if they want two, they submit twice).
Conventions that work
| Convention | Why |
|---|---|
| Use the customer's vocabulary | "AC Repair" not "Cooling system diagnostic." |
| Keep it short | 4 to 7 services is the sweet spot. More than 10 and customers get fatigued. |
| Always include "Other" | So callers with edge-case requests aren't stuck. |
| Put high-volume services first | Top-down order matches the customer view. |
What service-type drives
In your account:
- Filters in the booking inbox — show me all AC Repair bookings this month.
- Reporting on booking source by service.
- Lead notes (the service the customer picked is added to the lead's notes automatically).
What's NOT supported today
- Auto-assignment to a specific tech.
- Specific time-slot availability (you can't say "AC Repair available only Mon-Wed").
- Custom pricing per service at booking — pricing is handled later, not on the booking form.
