Folders group automations on the Automations page so a long list stays scannable. Every automation lives in exactly one folder.

You'll find them in the sidebar on the left side of the Automations page, under Your folders.

System folders (pre-seeded)

Run a Call ships with four folders. System templates land in these automatically:

FolderTemplates that live here
Customer-facing communicationsEvery SMS and email that goes to a customer — reminders, on-my-way, arrival, completion, review request, appointment reminder, payment receipt.
MembershipsThe five membership lifecycle emails — overdue at 14 days, overdue at 30 days, suspension, price change, re-engagement.
SchedulingReserved for future scheduling-specific automations. Empty today.
Getting paidReserved for future payment-specific automations. Empty today.

System templates cannot be moved out of their assigned folder.

Creating your own folders

  1. Automations.
  2. In the folder sidebar, click + New folder.
  3. Give it a name (e.g. "Marketing follow-ups", "Warranty flows").

New folders start empty. Drag any custom automation card into it to move it in.

Moving automations between folders

Drag and drop: on /automations, drag an automation card from its current folder onto the target folder.

From the automation menu: open the automation in the builder, click the folder name at the top, pick a new one.

Renaming and deleting folders

  • Rename: click the folder's name in the sidebar → edit.
  • Delete: right-click (or click the folder menu) → Delete. You'll be asked where to move the automations that live in it — folders can't be deleted with automations still inside.

Sort order

Folders sort alphabetically. Inside each folder, automations show newest-first by default; toggle the sort at the top of the list.
