Deleting an estimate removes it from the system. Use this only for estimates created in error — for any sent or viewed estimate, mark declined instead.

How to delete

  1. Open the estimate.
  2. Click ⋯ → Delete estimate.
  3. Confirm.
Important

Only owners and admins can delete estimates. Staff and field techs can't.

When deletion is OK

  • Draft estimates never sent to the customer.
  • Test estimates from before go-live.
  • Duplicate estimates created in error.

When NOT to delete

In all of these, mark declined instead with the reason Internal error — you preserve the history.

Recovering a deleted estimate

Within 30 days, support can restore. Email admin@runacall.com with the customer name and approximate date.
