Techs ask for time off in the app, and it goes to whoever approves it. No group text, no sticky note on the dispatcher's monitor.
Sending a request
Open Timesheet or Profile in the mobile app and tap Request time off.
| Field | What to put in it |
|---|---|
| Start date / End date | The days you want off. For a single day you just get one date field. |
| Type | Vacation, Sick Day, Half Day, Training, or Other. |
| Start time / End time | Only when it's a partial day. |
| Note | Optional — anything your manager should know. |
Submit it. You can't request a date in the past, and the end date has to come after the start date.
Tracking it
Your requests are listed under Profile, each showing where it stands:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Pending | The office hasn't decided yet. |
| Approved | You're off. Dispatch sees it when scheduling. |
| Denied | Not approved — talk to your manager. |
What the office sees
Approved time off shows up against that tech on the schedule, so nobody gets booked for a day they're not working.
Note
Techs can't change their own name, email, or pay details from the app. Those live with the office — ask an admin to update them.
