Ranks is the standings tab in the mobile app. Techs see where they sit against the rest of the crew for the month.
It's off by default. If your techs don't have a Ranks tab, the office hasn't turned it on.
Turning it on
An owner or admin goes to Settings → Team → Tech leaderboard.
| Setting | What it controls |
|---|---|
| Enabled | Whether the Ranks tab appears in the field app at all. |
| Metric | What everyone is ranked by. |
| Show dollars | Whether techs see the actual dollar figures or just the placings. |
| Notify | Whether techs get a nudge when the standings update. |
The metrics you can rank by
| Metric | What it measures |
|---|---|
| Sold volume ($) | Dollars of work sold. |
| Jobs completed | Straight count of finished jobs. |
| Memberships sold | New maintenance memberships. |
| Membership conversion % | Share of visits that turned into a membership. |
| Leads generated | Opportunities fed back to the office. |
Pick the one that matches what you're actually trying to grow. A shop pushing maintenance plans shouldn't be ranking on sold volume.
Show dollars off is the setting most shops want first. Techs can see who's ahead without everybody knowing everybody's numbers.
What techs see
The Ranks tab shows the current metric and period at the top, then the standings. A tech with no closed work yet is told so plainly rather than shown an empty screen.
Standings refresh on their own — nobody has to run anything.
The office view
Owners and admins get the fuller picture from the Tech leaderboard widget on the dashboard: revenue, jobs, average ticket, and on-time rate per tech, ranked however you like.
