The Tech scorecard report shows how each technician is doing — revenue, jobs, average ticket. It's the foundation of a tech accountability rhythm.
Where to find it
Reports → Team & jobs → Tech scorecard.
What it shows
Per technician over your date range:
| Metric | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Jobs completed | Count. |
| Revenue | Invoiced revenue on their jobs. |
| Average ticket | Revenue ÷ jobs. |
| Hours clocked | Total on-site hours. |
| $/hour | Revenue ÷ on-site hours. |
Sortable on any column.
What it answers
| Question | How the report answers |
|---|---|
| Who's our top revenue earner? | Sort by revenue. |
| Who's our most efficient tech? | $/hour separates the slow-but-thorough from the fast-and-loose. |
| Who's our upseller? | Average ticket reveals it. |
| Who's underperforming? | Bottom rows; investigate. |
Filters
| Filter | What it does |
|---|---|
| Date range | Weekly meetings; monthly reviews; quarterly trends. |
| By tech | Focus on one (e.g. coaching plan tracking). |
| By job type | See who's strong on Installation vs. Service. |
What this is NOT
- A complete performance review — this is the quantitative side. Customer reviews, callback rate, peer feedback live elsewhere.
- A commission calculator — if you pay techs on revenue or margin, you'd need to combine this with their compensation rules manually.
- Live — there's a small delay between job completion and the scorecard updating. End-of-day numbers are more reliable than mid-day.
Common patterns
| Pattern | What it means |
|---|---|
| Top tech has 2× the revenue of bottom tech | Usually means the bottom tech needs coaching, not firing. |
| High $/hour, low average ticket | Fast but missing upsells. Coach on the kitchen-table close. |
| Low $/hour, high average ticket | Selling well but slow on-site. Coach on diagnostic efficiency. |
The data behind the numbers
| Metric | Source |
|---|---|
| Jobs completed | Jobs with status Completed, Invoiced, or Closed in the period, assigned to this tech. |
| Revenue | Invoice totals on those jobs (where the tech was the Lead). |
| Hours clocked | On-site time from the time clock. |
If a tech's hourly rate isn't set on their profile, the labor cost side of profitability is wrong — but the scorecard itself is unaffected.
