A customer's service history lives across two tabs of their profile: Jobs (the work) and Communication (the talk). Together they give you the full record.

Jobs tab — the work history

Lists every job ever attached to this customer, in reverse chronological order. Each row shows:

ColumnWhat it shows
DateThe visit date.
Job IDRun a Call's identifier.
TypeService, Maintenance, Installation, Estimate, Callback.
StatusCreated, Scheduled, En Route, In Progress, Completed, Invoiced, Closed, Cancelled.
TechAssignee.
TotalIf billed.
EquipmentUnit serviced, if any.

Click any row to open the job — full timeline, photos, signature, invoice link.

The list includes cancelled jobs by default, so you can see what didn't happen as well as what did. To hide them, toggle the Hide cancelled filter.

Communication tab — every conversation

Unified feed across phone calls, SMS, and voice calls:

ChannelWhat's captured
Inbound callsCaller ID, duration, recording, transcript, whether the AI Receptionist handled it.
Outbound callsSame.
SMSThreads in either direction.

Every entry timestamps to the second. Click a call to play the recording or read the transcript.

Searching the history

From the customer profile, use the search bar at the top of either tab to scope:

  • "thermostat" — finds jobs and call transcripts mentioning thermostats.
  • A specific date or month.
  • A part number.

This is the fastest way to answer "have we serviced this unit before?"

Equipment service history

For a more focused view tied to a specific unit (e.g. "every service on the upstairs AC"):

  1. Open the customer → Properties tab.
  2. Pick the property and then the unit.
  3. The unit's own history shows every job that touched it. See Viewing equipment history logs.

Exporting

To send a customer's full history to a third party (warranty company, attorney, insurance):

  1. Open the customer.
  2. ⋯ → Export profile (PDF).

You get a clean PDF with the contact info, every property, every job, and every invoice. Communication transcripts are excluded by default (privacy) — toggle to include if you need them.
