Every change to a piece of equipment — make/model edits, service jobs, refrigerant add/recover events — is logged. The full history lives on the unit's record.
Where to find it
- Open the customer.
- Equipment tab.
- Pick the unit.
- History sub-tab.
What's in it
| Event | What's logged |

| Created | When the unit was first added, by whom. |
| Field edits | Name, model, serial changes. |
| Service jobs | Every job that touched this unit, with date, tech, scope. |
| Refrigerant events | Add or recover, in lbs. |
| Photos | Before/after photos from each service job. |
| Status changes | Working, Needs replacement, Replaced. |
Filtering the history
Use the chip filters above the timeline:
- Service
- Edits
- Refrigerant
- Photos
- All
Exporting
For warranty claims, dispute resolution, or just record-keeping:
- ⋯ → Export history (PDF).
- PDF includes every entry with photos.
Marking a unit replaced
When the customer replaces the unit:
- Pick the old unit.
- ⋯ → Mark replaced.
- Enter the replacement date.
- (Optional) Link the new equipment record so the history threads forward.
The old unit's history is preserved.
Refrigerant ledger
Refrigerant events feed into the EPA-required ledger:
