Missed calls and voicemails land in your Phone inbox — not in email. Open the inbox to find them.

Where missed calls show up

The Phone page is the unified inbox for everything voice — AI-handled calls, human-answered calls, missed calls, and voicemails — in one feed.

A missed call is anything that:

ScenarioBehavior
Rang the office but no one answeredLogged as Missed.
Reached voicemailLogged as Voicemail (no AI Receptionist enabled).
Caller hung up before the AI engagedLogged as Missed on an AI line.

Each row shows the caller's number (and name if they're in your customer database), the time, and a Missed or Voicemail badge.

Listening to voicemails

Tap a voicemail row. The detail page has:

ElementWhat it does
Audio playerPlay the message directly in the browser.

Caller infoPhone, customer record if matched, prior call history.

Acting on missed calls

From the call detail page:

ActionWhat it does
Call backOutbound dial using the click-to-dial button.
Send SMSReply by text, if the caller has a mobile number.
Add a noteAttached to the customer record.
Convert to jobIf the voicemail was a service request, drafts a job from the call details.

What's NOT supported today

  • No email forwarding of voicemails or transcripts. The inbox is the only place.
  • No Slack/Teams integration for missed-call alerts.
  • No SMS notification to a personal phone when a voicemail arrives.
Note

Some shops want phone-based alerts to a personal cell when after-hours voicemails come in — that's not built today. Plan to check the inbox at intervals or use the AI Receptionist to answer 24/7.

Auto follow-ups vs voicemails

ConfigurationBehavior
AI Receptionist onMost "missed call" scenarios become follow-up tasks with caller intent already classified. See Auto follow-ups after a missed call.
AI Receptionist offYou get raw voicemails — the workflow is just listen → call back.
