What's my Run a Call subscription price?
Plan pricing varies by tier. The current price for your account is shown in Settings → Billing. Major billable lines:
| Line item | Pricing |
|---|---|
| Base subscription | Your plan tier |
| AI Receptionist add-on | $99/mo + $0.75 per call overage past 100 calls/month |
| Phone numbers | Per number, per month |
| SMS | Included up to your plan's bundle; overage per message |
Can I switch plans mid-month?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and are pro-rated to your next billing date. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
How is overage billed?
Stripe metered events. Overage usage accumulates during the month; the next invoice includes a separate line for each overage type.
When does my card get charged?
On the renewal date for your subscription. Add-on overage charges hit the same invoice. Stripe handles the actual charge; you'll see a Stripe debit on your bank statement.
What if my card fails?
Stripe retries on its standard cadence (a few attempts over a week or so). You'll get email notifications. If retries exhaust, your subscription enters past due status and some features may be restricted until you update the card.
Where do my invoices live?
Settings → Billing → Invoices (or directly in the Stripe Billing Portal). Every monthly invoice is downloadable as a Stripe-hosted PDF. See Viewing billing history.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Contact support to cancel. There's no in-app cancel button today — it's email-driven to make sure we can flag any data export you might want first.
Will I lose my data if I cancel?
Your data is yours. We retain it for 90 days post-cancellation so you can request an export.
After 90 days, it's deleted per our data retention policy.
Why does my AI Receptionist usage vary so much?
Two reasons:
- Inbound call volume varies — busy months mean more billable calls.
- Spam-filtered calls don't count — if spam classification improves a lot in one month, your billable count drops without any other change.
Check Settings → Phone → Usage for the breakdown.
