Where do I download the app?
Apple App Store (iPhone & iPad) or Google Play (Android). Search for Run a Call. See Installing on iOS and Installing on Android.
Why does the mobile app only show me my jobs?
Field tech role is intentionally scoped. Techs see only their assigned jobs, not the full dispatch board or other customers. Admin and Owner can see everything; staff sees the dispatch board on the web app.
Does the app work offline?
Yes. Your jobs and pricebook are cached locally. Changes queue and sync when you reconnect. See Working offline.
Why doesn't the app receive incoming calls?
Inbound calls aren't routed to the mobile app today — they go to the AI Receptionist or voicemail. Outbound is click-to-dial through your phone's native dialer. See Click-to-dial from mobile.
Can I take a card payment in the field?
You can record that the customer paid by card on-site (e.g. through your separate POS terminal), but the app doesn't process the card itself. For online card collection, send the customer the payment link instead — they pay through Stripe's hosted checkout on their phone. See Recording payments on mobile.
Does the app track my location automatically?
No. Time clock state (Off site, On site, etc.) is manually changed by the tech. GPS isn't continuous; the app doesn't track location in the background.
Why didn't my "On my way" SMS send?
Three common causes:

What's Drive Mode?
A safety-focused view for techs while driving. Bigger buttons, fewer items on screen. Auto-enables when the app detects motion (or when the tech manually toggles it). Field tech role only.
Can I edit the pricebook from mobile?
No — search only. Item edits happen on the web app. See Searching the pricebook on mobile.
