The pricebook is the catalog of items and services your shop sells. It's what techs pull from when building estimates and invoices, and what the office uses to keep prices consistent.

Bundles (Good / Better / Best)

A bundle is a pre-packaged set of items. Bundles support a tiered presentation — Good, Better, Best — which is how you build the kitchen-table pitch.

The model:

ObjectRole
Bundle groupTies three bundles together (one per tier).
BundleHas a tier of good, better, or best.
Bundle itemsDefine what's included in each bundle.

Tech presents the customer with a side-by-side comparison of the three tiers; customer picks one; that bundle's items become the estimate's line items.

Categories

Pricebook items can be grouped into categories for organization. Categories have a name, description, and sort order. They show up in the field UI as section headers so techs can find items in three taps. See Creating and managing item categories.

Permissions

The pricebook is owner / admin only for editing — staff and field techs can't change prices.

Field techs CAN search and add items from the field UI on the iPad — they pull from the pricebook to build estimates and invoices. They can't add new items or change prices.
