The Dispatch board is where you see the day at a glance and rebalance work in seconds. Each row is a tech, each block is a job, and the gaps are exactly what they look like — bookable time.

The layout

AreaWhat it shows
Left columnTechs, in your preferred order, with skills and service areas under their name.
Time axisTypically 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. but you can zoom in or out.
Top rowUnassigned queue. Drag from here onto a tech to assign.
Bottom stripRunny, the AI dispatcher, with a Balance day button.

Three things you'll do on the board every day

1. Reassign a job

Grab a job block and drop it onto a different tech. Run a Call recomputes drive time on the fly and warns you if the new assignee can't physically make it. Drop ≠ delete; you can always undo.

2. Schedule from the queue

Inbound calls and AI-booked jobs land in Unassigned. Drag one onto a tech and a time slot. If the customer gave a window, Run a Call snaps the job into that window.

3. Drop in a new job from the queue

When a job comes in by phone or by booking link, it lands in Unassigned. Drag it onto a tech row + time slot to schedule.

Runny — AI dispatcher

If you're staring at 14 jobs and 8 techs and don't want to play Tetris, click Balance day. Runny:

  • Honors job time windows and customer-requested techs.
  • Honors tech skills and service areas.
  • Cuts drive time across the day.
  • Avoids overtime where possible.

You'll get a side-by-side preview of before and after. Approve, tweak, or reject.

Note

Runny doesn't reassign jobs that are already On my way or later. Once a tech is rolling, the assignment is locked.

Desktop vs mobile

The dispatch board ships in two flavors:

FlavorWhen it fits
DesktopFull grid, drag-drop, multi-tech overview. This is what dispatchers run all day.
MobileA streamlined view tuned for the phone. Useful for owners who want to check the day from the truck or while away from the desk.

Both views read and write the same underlying schedule — changes show up everywhere within seconds.
